Kat O'Brian grew up in Crooked Tree, Ohio and was transplanted against her will to sunny Florida, where she obtained a boring bachelors degree in human resources at the University of Central Florida. She realized writing was her passion and pulled out all her unfinished writings from her angsty teenage days and decided the characters shouldn't be hit by a bus and instead should fall in love, experience kinky sex, discover their world isn't the world they thought they knew and more.

Kat is the author of contemporary romance, erotic and fantasy novels, with her debut novel Chains & Pearls. If she isn't writing of thinking of writing, she is working her 9-5 job that has nothing to do with her degree, selling houses or hearing "Mom" screamed over and over again by her two children.
